A little about us as a famiy.
We are the Maxwell’s, Jim, Michele, Karlie, Kameron, Gavin and Landon. We all were born and raised in Northern Mi in the middle of the Christmas Tree capital of the nation. We live in my husbands childhood home on 12 acres where our kids and dogs have plenty of room to run and play. Our children are getting older and moving on to start families of their own and we are enjoying every minute of it, and yes they have labs of their own. We want to say thank you for looking around our website and considering us as an option to help you add a beloved Labrador to your family. We know we love ours!

You are getting more than just a puppy, you are getting an extension of OUR family.
For the life of your new furry companion you are responsible for their health, safety and wellbeing. We want to start them off with the best right from birth and we want to be an asset to you and your pup along the way with lifetime breeder support to help with puppy questions and concerns.
All parents are genetically health tested and have OFA hip and elbow evaluations to ensure they will not be passing along a number of genetic diseases that are common in Labradors. Pups come with hip and genetic health guarantees. Please see our pricing and health page.
All of our pups are whelped and raised in our home. I stay with mama during her delivery, so we are ready to take care of her needs immediately. We weigh puppies often to make sure they are growing and thriving. Pups are exposed and desensitized to the normal daily sights, sounds and routines of a normal family, this will encourage confidence and strong social skills. Pups are also started with beginning grooming tasks, baths/brushing/drying and nail trimming. Most importantly our pups are loved and cared for just as I would want someone raising a family member I was adding to my home. My husband, children and myself love on babies daily and pride ourselves in helping mama teach pups the beginning manors they will need to be the best pup they can be for you.
Puppies all go to the vet at 6 weeks of age to get their health check and first round of immunizations. Paperwork from the vets along with shot and deworming schedule will be included in the materials that come home with your baby. Your pup will come with their dewclaws intact just the way they were intended to be.
Litters are registered with AKC and your pup will come with their limited AKC registration paperwork for you to file.
We also prepare a puppy go home packet for you and your new pup just to say thank you for choosing FPL.
